A new color. The same car.

Full Color Change Vinyl Wraps in Lubbock

Reimagine the whole exterior without choosing permanent paint.

Rethink the color, not the car

You can love everything about a vehicle except its color. A full color change uses vinyl film to give the exterior a different appearance without respraying the body. At Ceramic Pro Lubbock, this service is for personal vehicles whose owners want a cohesive change across the car, rather than a single accent.

The starting point is the whole exterior: how the chosen finish will read across the hood, doors, fenders and the rest of the agreed coverage. A complete-looking result requires a coverage conversation, not just a color name.

Keep the factory paint underneath — with realistic expectations

Instead of replacing the original finish, vinyl sits over it. On suitable, sound factory paint, that lets you retain the existing paint beneath the new appearance. Film is removable, unlike a permanent respray, so a future change of direction can be possible.

Removable does not mean risk-free on every surface. Repainted panels, failing clear coat, existing damage and the condition of the film can affect removal. A wrap is not a repair for peeling paint, and it should not be treated as a guarantee that every surface will come back unchanged. Have the vehicle inspected before deciding whether vinyl is the right route.

Define what “full” covers before installation

Ask how the plan addresses panel edges, recesses and areas where the original color might remain visible. Door jambs and other less-visible surfaces should be discussed explicitly rather than assumed to be included. The agreed scope is what determines the project.

Why the quote starts with your vehicle

Body shape, exterior condition, existing film and the coverage you choose all matter. Seeing the car lets the shop review those details and quote the actual work. For a Lubbock color-change inquiry, share the year, make and model first, then arrange a vehicle review before committing to a scope.

We focus on enthusiast-owned cars, not commercial rebranding or company graphics.

Color-change decisions

Is vinyl a substitute for fixing damaged paint?

No. Surface problems need to be evaluated first. Vinyl changes appearance; it does not make an unstable paint finish a suitable installation surface.

Will choosing a full wrap automatically include door jambs?

Do not assume it does. Confirm those areas with the shop and have the coverage clearly defined in your quote, especially when the original and new colors contrast strongly.

Keep the project focused

If you only want selective styling, explore custom wraps. If you want to retain the body color with a black roof, choose Tuxedo Wrap / Black Top. For blacked-out trim while keeping your body color, explore chrome delete. Return to wrap & vinyl for the category overview.
