Auto Detailing & Paint Correction in Lubbock
Ceramic Pro LubbockPaint correction, decontamination and preparation for ceramic coating or paint protection film in our Lubbock shop—not a cheap express wash or drive-through car wash.

Before film or coating goes on, the paint needs more than a rinse. We remove bonded contamination, assess swirls and dullness, and plan the correction the finish can safely support. Caliche dust makes careful washing important; the preparation beneath the protection is the real focus of this service.
1. Wash
The car gets foamed and left to dwell so grit lifts off the paint before anything touches it. Loose dirt dragged across a panel is where most swirl marks come from, so this stage is not a formality.

2. Decontamination
Washing removes what is sitting on the paint. Decontamination deals with what has bonded to it, the road film and fallout you can feel with your fingertips through a plastic bag. Paint has to be clean at this level before it is polished or coated.

3. Machine polishing
Swirl marks and dullness live in the clear coat, not on top of it, which is why wiping harder never fixes them. A dual action polisher and the right pad and compound work that layer back to a level finish. How far a panel can be taken depends on the paint, and we will tell you what we are seeing rather than promise a result before we have looked.

Tell us what the car needs
Some vehicles come in wanting a clean up before a sale or a trade. Some want the paint corrected before a coating goes on. Some are daily drivers that have not been touched in a while. The scope is set when we go over the car with you, so call or text with your make and model and say what you want out of it.
Where detailing fits with everything else
A detail is a finish in its own right, and it is also the groundwork for the protection services we install.
- Ceramic Pro coatings go on after the paint has been washed, decontaminated and polished. A coating locks in whatever condition the paint is in, so the prep is the job.
- KAVACA paint protection film needs a clean surface underneath it for the same reason.
- Paintless dent repair is worth sorting before the paint work, not after.
- Aftercare and warranty covers how to keep the finish once you drive it home.

Common Questions
What is the difference between a wash and a detail?
A wash removes dirt that is sitting on the surface. A detail goes further: decontaminating the paint so it is clean at the level you can feel rather than see, then working on the clear coat itself with a machine polisher.
Do I need a detail before a ceramic coating?
Paint has to be clean and decontaminated before a coating goes on, and any polishing is done first, because a coating sits on top of whatever is there. Ask us what your paint needs when you book the coating and we will go through it with you.
Will polishing remove every mark?
No. Some defects sit deeper than the clear coat that can safely be worked. We will look at the panels and tell you what we think can be improved before starting.
What does a detail cost?
It depends on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the paint. Call or text (806) 701-8084 with your make and model, or request a quote.
